Kona Explosif 19” for sale

Re:

I made reference to this in my first post regarding the fitting of a Low Clamp Front Mech, which isn’t possible on a '92 Explosif – well not without doing a bodge.

I can’t see the ovalisation of the Tange Concept Seat Tube in the new pictures from Stevey…….

Indeed, I wasn’t able to see any in the original e-Bay pictures either ;) .

This example doesn’t show the ovalisation of Tange Concept particularly well…….

But this better picture of a ’91 Explosif uses the same tubing.

All of which begs the question; What frame is Stevey’s bike.

Again referring to my first post, I made a few suggestions.

I think the band is clamped over the bulge taper you cannot see, seen it before and rubber used as the shim.

That bottom bit is flatter and wider than the tube above it. Well to me it always had.

Re:

Could you take the front mech off and see what it is like under it?

Could you take a picture of the rear cable stop on the top tube.

Is there any ovalisation on the ends of the top tube , only slight but you can easily see it

Re:

I just received a letter yesterday from my Opticians pointing out that my eye test was now overdue  - I'll make an appointment.

BTW - it is possible to add more than one picture to each post - just click the Browse button again and add the next picture... unless that is an option not available when using a Smart Phone?
