1991 Kona Cinder Cone 18” MTB Cinder Gold

Retro Newbie
I love this bike, bought it last year to reminisce about the old days, MTBing on Dartmoor when I was a teen on an original 1989 ‘paint splat’ model.

With this one, you get the effortlessly cool looks and classic ride position, thanks to its long sloping top tube (23”) and Project Two forks, plus modern-day reliability with its Shimano Deore components including; underbar shifters and XT V brakes giving improved braking compared to the original cantilevers, not to mention easier maintenance. I’ll also leave the ‘go-to’ Shimano PD-M520 clipless SPD pedals on.

The light butted Cromoly frame has a great patina to it, you could strip it, sandblast it and bring it back to ‘new’ but personally, I preferred it this way.

Cosmetic frame condition aside, this classic MTB is in great condition and has just had a gear service which cost £38.

Collection from BATH BA1 preferred but equally happy to get a bike box from local bike shop and post but please contact for cost.

£250.00
