I never liked the look of radial spoking.

The bike is from 98, I think. It was the year the Plexus was launched. The prototypes were used as early as the 96 World Cup, but this one is definitely later.
 
^those hubs are lovely, Chris King designed them with a wider flange on the non driveside on the rear and a wider flange on the front so the lacing was radial on front and a really weird 2x on the drive side and radial on the other
