I've been hanging on to some Judy bits for a while now, and today got around to sorting through it all. I was harbouring the intention of keeping some bits for my FSX which have air internals, but I'm unlikely to revert back so I've decided to part with it all. Prices include UK postage, happy to do deals on multiple parts or listen to offers if my prices are out.

Any item not listed individually below can be had for the price of postage, basically lots of bits and bobs from my Judy rebuilding (spacers, circlips, springs etc).

SOLD - First up is a fantastic set of Judy SLs - £85 inc UK postage

I rebuilt these today, giving them a good clean inside and out. Rebuild included liberal doses of Judy butter to the bushings and below the seals. They are possibly the best set of SL's I've had or seen for quite some time. Its a used fork of course, so there are some marks here and there to the lowers, but they are extremely tidy, with the worst being a stone chip on the inside left lower leg as you look at them from the front. I replaced Judy decals at the very bottom of the legs, but the Rock Shox ones are in pretty good shape so left these as they were.

The damper is as good as you'll find. Completely working, full of oil and works amazingly well with no leaks.

The standard brace has been replaced with a Styff carbon brace weighing in at 90g.

Brace bolts, canti bosses and lower leg bolts are all titanium, the crown bolts are standard I'm afraid.

Adjusters work perfectly and are unmarked.

The stanchions are in perfect condition, completely unmarked aside from a few small scuffs where the crown slides on.

When I rebuilt them this morning, I fitted a type 2 spring at the top of the elastomer stack (which incidentally are in pretty nice condition too), and added an extra disc spacer between each elastomer to take up the slack (the springs are about 1.5 times the length of an elastomer, and I didn't fancy cutting one in half). As a result the fork has no sag and is really plush due to the service it's just been given.

Edit: I wasn't happy with the action of the fork with the springs at the top so I've replaced with a full elastomer stack. I'll still include the type 2 springs, spare elastomers and spacers for travel reduction though. I've also dropped the price as I'm feeling generous this evening.

Steerer (which is nice and shiny) is 1 inch threaded and 130mm long, with the top 20mm threaded.

Below are some pics of the fork before/during the rebuild (I have more if you want them):

And a few of the final fork (I have others if you want them):

As part of the package I'll include some spare elastomers, just in case you don't want the spring at the top. I will also include some elastomer sized spacers used to reduce the travel. I can also include original fork boots if you want them. If you want to add anything from the list below i'll do a good deal on anything.

Next up are the spares from my hoarding (pics in following section):

Judy damper - £25 inc UK postage
This is in pretty good shape, no apparent leaks though there is a small bit of sag before the damping kicks in so may need an oil change. It's the metal bodies version so can be opened/topped up without fear of breaking it, unlike the earlier plastic ones.

Judy dampers - £5 inc UK postage for the pair
No oil in these plastic bodied dampers, but the shafts are in unmarked condition. Haven't tried to refill these to see if they hold oil or leak.

SOLD - Judy SL decal set - £12 inc UK postage
Not much to say, unused, caters for older and newer style decals and a spare too.

SOLD - Elastomers - £15 posted
I bought some elastomer tube to make my own, have done so successfully in the past for other forks too. These are not drilled through the middle (aside from what is left of the yellow one). I used to cut them to size first, then drill the hole while the elastomer was held straight (they bend you know). The yellow one is a hard elastomer, not sure about the other two colours. The cream ones are still sealed in packet, the red loose but never been used.

SOLD - Judy aftermarket spring kit - £15 posted
I think these are Kronos springs, but I can't remember the weight. If the green colour means anything.....

SOLD - Judy SL top cap/adjusters - £15 posted
From the 98 forks iirc. Fantastic condition, fully working.

SOLD - Judy Titanium brake bosses/canti mount bolts - £15 posted
Replace those heavy bolts on any Judy with these svelte titanium ones.

SOLD - ATI Judy/Sid shock boots - £10 posted
Protect your stanchions with these aftermarket replacements. Would suit longer travel Judy and 80mm travel sids too.

SOLD - Original Judy shock boots - £10 posted (unless they go with the fork)
Standard shock boots in very nice, clean supple condition. If they go with the fork, they are not for sale.

SOLD - Judy Type 3 firm spring kit - £13 posted
Firm spring kit - contains 4 x firm springs and fitting instructions (new and unused).

Re:

Pics of the stuff not really for sale, just postage for any bits and bobs you need. I included a set of seals in a pic above these are also available. I think there is also a rebound adjuster dial from the 98 Judy range as well.

Interested in Judy Titanium brake bosses/canti mount bolts + some small parts (ciclips and washers), PM incoming.

No idea what the above post is about. Sold items updated. Some circlips and all wave washers gone, as have the top caps missing the adjuster dials. I've dropped the fork price as well as I'm feeling generous.

Re:

The forks would look nice on winter secret project h, but I can't buy forks until I know the frame repair is sorted. If they don't sell....
