Brian Rourke MTB, Reynolds 653, Cook Bros cranks

Degner

Retro Newbie
This was a race quality bike built late 1991, early 1992.
Reynolds 653 tubing
17" seat tube, 21.5 inch top tube.
Bike was updated in 2002, this included repaint (has my name on top tube).
Top tube has two small dents on the underside from handle bar action, these were pre the 2002 upgrade and deemed not an issue by Rourkes.
Bike still retains some nice parts:
Purple anodised 'Cook Brothers Racing' cranks
Original thumb shifters
DX front derailleur.
XT rear.

Bike is in rideable condition but ideally needs a full strip down and build up as its been stored for many years.

A lovely looking bike which I've owned for over 20 years.

Re:

Thanks for all the interest.

Cranks have the half-round milled out slot on the inside which I'm reliably informed means they are the lighter RSR series.

Cheers

Nick :)

You realise that not packing/posting is going to let it go for much less than its worth? Especially on eBay.
I know, you're right, someone will get a bargain
