I thought I'd mention this here, as a friend of mine is selling up and I think it's a cracking little boat at an excellent price.
She's a Norman 23 cruiser. A really nice size for a holiday boat, and with a sought after mooring on the Kennet & Avon.
She's powered by a marinised Ford petrol engine (in another life, it would have been in a mk1 Escort!), with an Enfield shaft drive . Normans are really, really well made, and it's a good size for a starter boat. Probably a bit pokey for residential usage to most people, but ideal if you just wanted to dip a toe in the water, so to speak, or as a holiday boat.
Really, £5,000 is a bargain. For the price of a holiday, you get a really, really nice boat, and can have as many holidays as you like!
