Anyway- we are leaving the UK and heading back to NZ on Dec 10th and our lovely '94 525 TDS estate is up for grabs. Its got a long MOT and also has tax until Feb.
Its a super smooth 6 cylinder 2.5 litre turbo diesel, 5 speed manual, great condition, full black leather interior, twin sunroof, towbar, CD player.
In the time we have owned it (just under a year- after our van expired) I've replaced the glow plugs, the thermostat, one worn bottom control arm- others are fine - and its had two oil and filter changes.
No faults really but for slightly worn steering wheel and windscreen has 2 chips but they didn't worry MOT man. Its got good tyres all round. The spare wheel doesn't match the others though.
All in all a great car! Very cheap to run- just recently did a long mtb trip to Switzerland and back- faultless cruiser! And still has a years Swiss toll ticket on window too.
We are in Oxford- quick sale needed as Hannah's brother who had promised to buy it has suddenly decided he cant afford to and left us in a right pickle with a week to go !!!
£1000 take it away!
