adaptor has been tidied away somewhere but it runs and a new one is as cheap as £7 off ebay

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/19V-3-42A-adapter ... 286.c0.m14

Sold as spares /repairs as I'm not so sure about this machine as I didnt rebuild it. It was owed to me as part of a debt.

currently re-installing XP

£45 inc p&P on the Acer - either the adaptors fooked or the laptop is fooked.

xp loaded ok but I think the power socket has taken a knock.

will investigate

If you can get the power issue sorted I'll have it.
