KLF - The Manual (paperback)

Limited appeal, but there are a few of 'a certain age' on here... :)

I have an original 1988 copy of "The Manual" by KLF (Bill Drummond and Jimmy Cauty), in excellent condition. Still has the HMV price tag of £5.95 on the back. The book was meant as a step-by-step guide to getting a number 1 single, and is much sought after among collectors. Genuine 1988 copy, not the reissue. I can take pictures of the correct ISBN.

On Amazon these are advertised at £185 each, if anyone is serious I'll consider offers at £155, or an interesting swap.

Pics to follow.

Very good.

Just watched 'Waiting' on you tube again. Perfect breakfast backdrop before London starts to grind me down.

Sorry, even though it worked for EMF, I'm afraid I won't be investing, so I'm out.

:D

Jury's till out

S'funny - just read '45' on my holidays. Still can't work out whether Drummond's a genius 'artist' or a wacky loafer.... Can't believe he'd be impressed by the 'value' his book is making these days! ;-)

I bought 45 last year, and I was quite impressed - it's very abstract but I think he has realised that he likes capitalism, and there's some backtracking in there...

Have you read The Manual? It's really very good. honest. I have a copy if you fancy a read :D

Must re-read 45, read it a few times and enjoyed it a lot. Been a few years since I read it last though, it'll be the next book down off the shelf now.

Ha ha...my Uncle-in-Law edited, co-wrote that other book when they burnt the million squid...or something...I dunno....I like Jazz
