Just re-aquainted myself with Be Bop Deluxe - last time I heard them it was via my secondary school RE teacher who used to play it in class.
Anyone ever noticed that their 'Futurama' album from 1975 has a fair few hooks and melodies, and general styles on it which appeared almost unchanged in Rush's far more commercially successful '2112' of the following year?
Now I'm as much of a Rush fan as any 60's child, but this is proper plagiarism! Maybe they were just fans... :shock:
