Thought I'd have a look see if anyone fancied a nice, dirty great 4x4 to tool all their bikes around in...

6 months of continued unemployment have left me with a really reluctant sale of my Pathfinder I've owned for almost exactly a year, put over 20k miles on it, and it's never missed a beat. Consistantly returns 38/39mpg on long runs and about a month ago I did a 1500mile round trip over to southern Ireland and it was faultless. 500+ miles on a tank full..

It's a 2005 (05) SVE, in silver, 6spd manual, with full leather, side steps, sat nav and all the usual high spec electrics (bluetooth to your phone, auto lights, auto dimming rear mirror with compass, air con, heated seats....). Mileage is 105k and it's Tax'd and MOT'd til January 2013..

I put new Mintex pads up front a couple of weeks ago. Tyres are Cooper Discoverer's and they've still got thousands of miles life in them (in fact they still look like they're got the same amount of tread as a year ago...). I also regassed the aircon system a month ago and blows beautifully cold..

The rear driver's side door handle went on me a couple of days ago, but this will be fixed prior to sale.

Couple of bad points that should be mentioned:
a) there's the common problem of the rust patch at the top left of the rear number plate surround.

b) Cruise control has never worked (typical problem again) - it's never bothered me cos I use my feet..

c) front bumper lower spoiler (passenger side) is missing - again, it's never really bothered me. And some toe rag nicked the front cover to the roof rails on the driver's side.

d) occasionally the limp mode cuts in, when you pull up and sit at traffic lights after a run. If you blip the throttle whilst stationary it doesn't cut in, but probably something that might be worth looking into. I just don't have any money left to look into sorting these problems out.

Other than that it still drives fantastic, and it really will be a sad sad day when it sells, as I waited a good few years to own one that was 'right'

Anywhoo, price time.... Looking at market value they seem to be all over the place, so I'm gonna put a stake in the ground and say £8250 but I'm very much open to sensible offers, (based on the faults listed above), or whether I'm waaaay off. I have run it for the whole of this year with a DTE chip and pedal box without problem. This will be removed prior to sale, but available for negotiation with the buyer.

If anyone wants any more specific pics, please pm me, and I'll get them over to you.
