I am selling my 1976 R60/6. Bol d'or red, full stainless exhaust system, full years tax and test. Only 18,300 miles and I have a file full of M.O.T.s and tax discs to verify mileage. Only 4 previous owners. This bike is in very good condition. Not perfect, but very good. Mechanically very sound. Very good Metzeler tyres. The bike currently has a single seat and bar end mirrors fitted but I have the original seat base (de-rusted, just needing paint) foam and a new cover and fittings, and the original mirrors.
I am looking for
£2500 ono. For the full asking price I will include a copy of Mick Walkers BMW twins restoration book, a genuine 1976 model range leaflet and price list, some period magazines with road tests, a BMW technical manual and a well worn Haynes manual.
I will also consider a part ex for a twinshock scrambler, i.e Bultaco Pursang or similar.
