The Awards take place on Monday 13th June, at the Indigo2 in the O2 complex, North Greenwich, London. Doors open at 6pm.

See who we have playing the Metal Hammer Golden Gods including the boat!
The Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards welcome Canadian one man metal factory Devin Townsend. The Strapping Young Lad creator will join the awards ceremony bill alongside Skindred, Buckcherry and Sylosis. Our annual heavy metal award ceremony honours the best bands and individuals of the year and happens on June 13 at the Indig02 at London’s 02 Arena.
Announced last month were hard rock legends Twisted Sister to headline the event! Old hands are aware of this maligned talent and the band have already proven their mettle to the younger generation at events such as Hard Rock Hell and Bloodstock – and we can’t wait to see them at our very own awards show!
We can also announce the bill for HMS Hammer! Playing the party boat will be The Dead Lay Waiting, Tesseract, Black Spiders and none other than Biohazard! Most of you will know the hardcore legends Biohazard who have a new album this year, and many may also know the greatest new British rock band for ten years, Black Spiders. Lesser known but equally exciting are the UK’s djent overlords Tesseract who’s debut album One and their awesome live shows have seen them overtake many of the international contenders for the new prog crown.
2011’s theme is zombies, so make sure you dress appropriately.
