Preferably Achatina Achatina if not overly expensive..

Kids have been bugging (no pun) me about these for months and there's a birthday this week so opportunity knocks!!...

Any GALS babies out there??

Not round here.. nuttin' doin' . . .

Can get A. Fulica from about quid each
A. Achatina are ranging from a fiver up to £15 each at the mo' it seems

Plus postage.. of course..

Might settle for some Fulica for now and get some Achatina later. . .

My kid (19 year old daughter)has two of these large snails, see attached pic of one in a washing up bowl when its tank was being cleaned out.

Did ask her about breeding them, but she said no as they go mental and would end up with thousands of the things
My wife is a school science tech and she brought them home hatched from eggs.

Maybe see if any local schools can help out?

Aah... forgot I started this..

We're sorted, thanks.. 8)

Breeding them isn't really something there's much choice in if they're kept together..
People either freeze the eggs to kill 'em or feed them to lizards and fish.

Unless they are Achatina Achatina in which case they are not that easy to breed apparently - which is one of the reasons they were my species of choice
