Wilson cycles in sheffield has a stock of NOS 217 rims, 36H only though. When I spoke to him he had silver and sunsets available, and one red mavic 517 as well (again 36H). Expect to pay rrp though (£25 silver and £35 for the sunsets).
He also mentioned that he had some 36H hubs but I'm not sure what these were.

I'd have had a few pairs off him if they'd been 32H, as it is I can't bring myself to dump all my 32H hubs.

the guy at my lbs can still get hold of 217 rims.
cheaper than list price too.
