I know guards aren't everyone's cup of tea, but my mate has one of the fender benders and it's pretty good and discrete too, so I've ordered one and a 'butt fender'. Why not for £4 and £3.75 respectively.....

A question for our American friends that has been bothering me for a while.

What do you call those squishy white things that you hang over the edge of a boat to stop it damaging itself on wharfs etc?

They turned up really quick and I've just got around to fitting the front one, real easy 5 minute job. Looking forward to trying them out
