Just bought a new boxed Shimano freehub STX RC 7 speed for £7.50 delivered. It was fast delivery - very pleased.

They also stock XT M737 8speed, Alivio MC10, and Alivio, each at £7.50 delivered.

Ordered an XT M737 freehub body. We'll see if they actually exist...

so what is it then, it is an 8 speed hub, the part code had dissolved off both of mine, and more importantly will it fit as i heard that m737 are rather specific , something about stx rc and other hubs not sitting close enough to the flange.

M737 for a start come with the metal ring on it to stop damage to the M737 and M900 cassettes The dust ring is the wrong style and size, M737 uses a much larger seal. and if I remember correctly the bearing races should be partly shiney.
But you've just reminded me I need to sent a complaint to them.

The date code on mine is late 2002 model.
Some something cheap

Mine also arrived and it definitely isn't an M737 freehub body. Not entirely sure what it is.

Disappointing, but not entirely unexpected. I'll get in touch with them in the next couple of days...
