being steel? they last quite a while 8)

obviosuly the better its maintained the longer it will last
should survive a couple chains though

I put one on a mates bike a couple of weeks ago and he was impressed by how well it shifts compared to his old 8 speed Shimano.

Clucking bell, you can't get 8sp SRAM cassettes that cheap...!
