Hi All

I'm looking for a handlebar, thats essentially just a normal flat handlebar, with a pretty shallow "U" shaped welded to the underside... if that makes sence.
Does anyone know of such a bar please? links, or model names appreciated :)

imagine if the top of this handlebar was totally flat on top.. & needs to be ideally steel

thats pretty much a description of 'cw' handlebars, or 'coast wheels', but more commonly known as c-dubs. they were genrally pretty tall, and suited taller riders but were also available in cruiser format, which because of the bigger wheels and frame on a bmx cruiser would require lower handle bars to get the best fit. check 'cw bmx' on fee bay to get an idea of cost, proper genuine c-dubs fetch strong money, but copies are pretty cheap and common.

Most CWs are high rise (8 inch plus).
They did make a flatter cruiser version, but these probably fetch more than the standard ones, being much rarer.

If you're not set on the CW shape, other options include S&M, Skull Skates, old-school Elf (now pricey) or bars that come on the retro re-issues from S.E. Racing, Redline etc. They often get upgraded and then Ebayed.

Your man for the job was Garry "Johnny Chopper" in Australia. He would do you 4130 or stainless in any style imaginable. One-off custom repro frames, tubular cranks - anything. But last month he announced that the recession has forced him to close shop.
