Hi guys I usually hang out in the MTB side of retro bike but I picked up a
1984 -85 Lew ways stinger aero as far as I can tell a early one,

Barn find

more rust then paint at the moment I am looking for replace ment graphics for it and any other info

I know lew ways was a toy and cycle distributor and some where sold via Woolworth stores

Yes it was the cheaper end of the market and sold in places just for the new person who wanted a cheap bmx ( or mum and dad )
Some people like them as they had them as there first bmx back in the day

Get some pics up for all to see

If I remember rightly they don't have a strengthened seat stay to seat tube. I got given one about 20 years ago that I built from the parts I had on my dyno while it was in for a respray. I took it off a small drop and bent the frame so badly the chainring hit the floor and I couldn't pedal it. Was quite funny at the time. But if your a big bloke don't try and ride it hard. Trust me ;)
