probably not the best forum to be asking this, but ive just set up my first 19mm/48spline 3piece crankset, its using a euro bb in a 68mm shell, and its horribly modern splinedrive.
my concern is the cranks dont go very far onto the spindle, maybe only 50% of the way into the crank. is that normal? the spindle came with teh cranks so wasnt expecting to need a longer one. could it be a problem? basically not keen on trying it out in case it sheers off or something
