My mate has one in his shed :D , says it's a "night burner" would this be right ?, it's chrome with an oval downtube, no gussets, wire wheels and a layback seatpost, pads are not on it so i'm assuming those are lost :( , look's in reasonable nick, light surface rust on the frame, i recon it'll need the usuall strip down new tyres, cables, re-grease bearings etc.

What year would this bike be ?

I've offered him £50 do you think this is reasonable ?

My last BMX was a Burner 23 years ago  (a blue and yellow one)

www.raleighburner.com is your aim dude,

£50 might be steep for a mk2 and if its chrome that dont make it a night burner that just makes it a chrome burner. pretty common dude and available for less on evilbay

Night burners were black and red.Red weinmann rims and calipers.
Just a basic burner really .Slightly better with alloy rims I guess.
Read my reply to above team burner post. All the 'basic' burners were pretty naff. If you want a burner ,save the pennies and stump up for a 'proper ' team one.loads loads loads better.
Actually rideable ,in fact.
I was lucky . I pulled one out of a skip.

hi dude if you want to know anything about burners pm me,iam paisley based . always available to help a fellow buddie.cheers.stuart :D
