Hi Chaps,

I have purchased this frame, and was told it is a Curtis, which I don't think it is...anyone know what it is ?

that's not a Curtis

looks like some generic Midschool low end frame

Looks the later end of the 80's

so was it bought or given ?

It was bought as a Curtis. Only now it's arrived I've had my doubts !

I agree it looks to new for an early 80's bmx.

Will the frame number give any ideas ?

It might help but not much if it is a generic late 80's frame ?

how much did you pay and was it bought on ebay ?

those forks look ok though!

you can tell a curtis made frame from the welds.
curtis frames are brazed .you probarbly find yours is tig welded,or worse ,plain mig welded.
