Just obtained one of these for my son, it's a Pilgrim Protege. Nothing special but a good value starter BMX. ... -6595.html

He's only 7, but a tall 7, so the bike seems to fit him OK... except he needs smaller cranks.

Is there a three-piece crank standard now? I've seen these on the Bay but I don't know if they'll fit: ... 1423.l2649

Any ideas?

they should fit, but you may need the axle changed as well, some axles have different splines and so a full change over will/may be needed - it' not hard - have a look as it comes off and do in reverse with the new one

there are loads of you-tube's about changing cranks so you shouldn't get stuck

you can always put pic's up and I'm sure members will help out

cheers B
