Kuwahara dimensions

Would like to use my old school SR 3 piece crank on my 2012 Kuwahara Laserlite.
The bottom bracket diameter is approx 34mm diameter and 68mm width.
I think this is whats known as a Euro BB size. The bottom bracket that came with the crank are far too big to fit the frame, has anyone out there fitted an old school 3 piece crank to a modern frame?.
Also would like to know what size thread of pedals fit the SR crank arms.

3 piece cranks use 9/16th pedals (1 piece use 1/2 inch)

your cranks will have a american bottom bracket and the kuwie uses a euro bb, most euro bb take a 19mm axle

Thank's for the info Kev-s,
so went to local halfords and bought a plain simple cartridge style sealed bottom bracket. Euro size with square taper ends that fit the SR crank arms great. Total length was 122mm but i think an extra 2mm per side would be better, which means a bottom bracket of 68mm and 127mm should be just right.

Wheels are next, looking at either Gold Araya's or white Skyway's.
