Hello,

I'm new to this forum and I have a 1996 GT Interceptor 4130 Cro-mo. It is all original and I have the receipt and manual. I rode it less than 30 times within a year from home to work (about 6 blocks). I originally bought the bike to ride to work but stopped riding it after I got my driver's license at 16.

The frame has no dents or dings, and the tread on the tires look brand new. The bike has never been jumped and it has only been ridden on the street. It has always been kept indoors - either in my room or the garage.

The only visible defects:

1) The handlebar grips have turned slightly yellow over time.

2) The rear tire has a flat and the amber-colored sidewalls have turned darker through the years.

3) The pedals have some scratches as usual.

4) There are some barely noticeable spots that look like the formation of rust near the crank.

I bought the bike on July 7, 1996 for $323.24. I don't know what it's worth now, especially since it is in almost new condition. I would like to at least get $225-250 for it.

Any thoughts? Can anyone help me find out how much it would be worth?

Thank you kindly,
