I got the bike as a complete and decided that because I couldn't afford a Tour 2 that I would make this into a lookalike. I was going to call it '2 Poor 4 A Tour 2'. 
As it looked when I got it, 100% stock.
I knew I wasn't going to be able to acquire all the correct parts for it on my budget, so I cheated on the bars and brake levers.
I got the Pac Man forks and did the 1 threaded to 1 1/8 threadless conversion. Only problem I had was overtightening the hollow bolt and bonding it to the star nut, so I had to hacksaw the bloody bolt off and smash the old star nut down into the forks before installing a new star nut.
Then, just as I was nearing completion I was lucky enough to find a Tour2 f/f for sale in my price range, so I took all the bits I had collected back off the bike. Then, my brother said he would buy it as long as it had the forks and handlebars on it, so they had to go back on. :twisted:
