i picked up a tatty-ish chrome mk1 burner from a member on here that has obviously had at least 1 careless owner over its past. badly painted bars, cranks & stem, knackered original front wheel, non-matching non-burner rear, no brakes & a stuck seatpost.
after stripping back the cranks, bars and stem it is obvious that reviving the chrome is out of the question so i'm moving onto plan B.
plan B involves a matt black frame & wheel rims (with original decals on the frame) & lime green cranks, cables, stem, bars, brakes, tyres & seat. obviously this isn't exactly 'traditional' for a burner but after a play about in photoshop i think it'll look pretty good!
so, what say you? do i go for an original burner paint scheme or do I put a modern take on THE british classic???
