Anyone got any thoughts on what this is?

Hi all

I've just picked up this BMX from a friend and I've said I'll have a go at taking it back to its former glory for him.

Anyone got any thoughts on what it is? Probably around 30 years old, still wearing its original tyres apparently!

It's been crudely sprayed black so going to be interesting to see if I can get that off without damaging the red paint or the decals below

Managed to get a bit of paint off the decals to reveal it is a Tensor BMX Magnum and there is a pic on bmxmuseum to help guide the restoration. Decals are pretty savaged though so not sure how to go about replacing them

Hello, just saw a post from May 2017 asking about how a red tensor magnum BMX would have looked originally back in the 80s - here is a picture of the one I had
