Not old school i know but a mid school chrome RL240 which I am looking for advice in buying a reasonably period correct or sympathetic to the era wheel set and tyres.

I only have the rear wheel which has seized bearings and spokes missing so not commercially viable to restore - it has an SR/KK hub and Femco rim so nothing special about it. It wears a Haro tyre which is fairly smooth in profile totally different to the know by 80 ' s!

I was riding bmx in the 80 ' s and was out of the scene by the 90 ' so not too sure what to look for . Both axles are 10mm.

Cheers Ray

Is it a standard 240 with a normal platform or the freestyle with the v split off the top tube to seat stays.
