Hi, My name is Earl and I live in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, eh...

Back in the early 70's, I worked part-time at a bike shop here in Montreal.
In order to save money, the owner imported a bunch of Harry Hall frames in unfinished condition. I guess there was less duty when imported.

I was young and didn't know what color to paint it, so I had the entire frame chromed ;-)

The seat stay to seat tube has a very distinct design.

The pink marker is just to indicate the current height of the seat post. I'm hoping that I'll be able to move it one day.

Everything on the bike is Campy, except the brakes, which were over $100 at the time! Universals were much cheaper and stopped just as well.

I still ride it and found this site while researching the bike's history and locating replacement Reynolds 531 stickers, etc...

I would like to modernize a few things. My legs aren't as young as they were before and the 52/42 14,15,16,17,18 freewheel is not as easy as it was 40+ years ago.

I will be at TOSRV 2019 (Tour Of Scioto River Valley), in Ohio, so it you see me, come and say hello...

Jeremy from Hampshire here, joined to get some help with my Dawes Fox which I've owned from new, about 37 / 38 years I should think.

I also have a circa 20-25 year old Diamond Back Vectra Comp MTB and a Pashley Parabike (which is a lovely bike but too heavy and too narrow gear spread for someone who lives in the south Downs and isn't very fit).

Greetings from Australia.... I joined up to get some information on my Dave Lloyd frameset, and I'm hoping to find information to help my (too many) projects along. My current ride of choice is my mid 80's Francesco Moser.

Best regards!

I am new to this forum and am looking for info. I have a vintage peugeot road bike.ftp. research i believe it to be a 70s px10. I am trying to find approx value. Also under the seat post there are some italic initials engraved in the bike and wondered if this was common on px10 or could be down to being tesm issue. Any help greatly appreciated

:D no, I edited my post. I had said you should post a new thread elsewhere in Road bikes a specific question regarding your Peugeot, then I realised you already had
