I had a serious ride for the first time with my old Gios.

It was my first ride on a steel bike for many years. I took it because I broke the fork expander of my carbon road bike last saturday night.
Well first impressions after a 100Km ride. The steel is awesome in filtering vibrations of the road. The bike is less responsive while accelerating than my carbon bike also equipped with standard wheels (spokes laced by 3). While sitting on the saddle, the ride with the steel frame is quite similar to the carbon one.
In conclusion I must say that I'm quite impressed by the ride quality of this 20 years old bike.
But I had some trouble with the transmission. The bike is equipped with a Shimano 13-26 cassette and there are "holes" between sprockets. Is there other options than the HG-50 cassette which seems only available in 13-26 size ?
