Just came across this short article on the origins of the Klein bicycle in the 1970s MIT engineering course:

Yes, seems like there is a lot nice on stuff on there. Already consumated the reviews on the black Dura Ace Japanese bikes, the Alan Super Record and the Raleigh 753 (all bikes I have or had) ...and there is much more left to read.
