Trying to get info, what rims were available 80-85?
Mavic GP4 was, but some others?

When Campa started to make rims?

Here's a 1984 Mavic catalogue:

I think Campag began rim production a little later - perhaps 1986. Here's their 1987 catalogue:

Super Champion were popular in the late seventies and early eighties. I've had a few pairs of their Arc-en-Ciel tub rims over the years, and my dad rode the model 58 clincher:

Fiamme was a popular Italian brand during the seventies and eighties.

Ambrosio, Fir, Nisi...

Although Fir might be a bit later than 1980-85.

Also Assos, Wolber.

This link will be a good search of all rims on VeloBase (I just implemented a persistent search so you'll actually get the proper search results based off a link)
