Rory O'Brien.

Hello all.

My dad was a semi-professional cyclist sponsored by Rory O'Brien in the 60s.
Whenever we talk bikes he speaks very fondly of his Rory O'Brien bike so i'm looking into the possibility of getting hold of something similar for him to ride when he retires this year.

I'm also looking for any info about what happened to the company.

Any help would be much appreciated!

It's O'Brien.

Rory didn't actually make the frames that carried his name. He used a
number of East London frame builders. He retired in the mid 70s and
died in the late 80s. The business still exists

Rory O'Brien

Had a Rory given to me by my stepbrother when i was 10; fixed/singlespeed - used to go 'tracking' on it before MTB. then restored it-shop supplied frame decals etc. wish i had'nt sold it!
