Wheels worth keeping?

Hi guys,

I am rebuilding up an old Holdsworth and deciding whether to try and salvage the wheels or buy new ones. The ones off it are Sunshine hubs with Staral rims. They need re-lacing but hubs and rims will be fine with a clean up. Anyone have these wheels? Are they worth keeping or should I just be looking for something else?

I seem to remember staral rims at that time. They had a high-polish stay brite finish and looked far superior to weinemans. I also recall staral rims not being welded and when unlaced sorta opened up and looked as tho' they were coming apart. This was in fact the design - the tension brought the 2 ends together on a kinda railed slider. You might find this when you disassemble the wheel.
(Probably made a hash of explaining it, but best I can do)
