I have found a Centurion road bike...does anyone know anything about them?

Model appears to be a Super Elite

Thanks!

This will tell you a lot. Well, at least I knew it was a Japanese bicycle :P

Though it does look like there exists a chance that there might be an Italian bike under that name too!

Maybe they have a catalog scanned into this website on Centurion.

Seems certainly like a nice bike! Suntour Cyclone and Sugino parts, if I am not mistaken, quality stuff, I would say. Nice details on the frame too, like thge chromed crown, but also the lined lugs and other paint lines. Nice find!

Wouldn't be surprised if this was danish.

Centurion was/is a big brand in Denmark and the range/graphics on danish centurions is/was different to the same brand name's German bikes.

Look out for a frame number beginning with WAK. If that's the case, it's danish in origin.
