Coventry Eagle Fixed or Geared?

Hi, Im restoring a tidy 27" wheeled 531 Coventry Eagle road bike. What do people think is more desirable a fixie or a 2X5 geared?

What kind of riding do you do? have you ever ridden fixed?

When you say "desirable", do you mean for riding or for resale?
If it's the latter, probably fixed. But that doesn't mean you will make a profit from it; buying the parts all eats into your profits.
