Not sure where to put this (or if it has already been posted somewhere), but there is a nice interview with John Tomac over on BikeRadar, talking about Paris-Roubaix and other road races in the early 90s.

Great article. Realised Tomac did a bit on the road in Europe, however his exploits are poorly reported in comparison to his mtb career. wonder if he could've made a better go on the road if he'd have switched to it full time.

I remember him saying in an interview at the time that he used to get told off by his roadie mechanic for wheelie-ing down the road on his road bike :lol:
I believe he also came over to do the Kellogs Tour of Britain when he was with Motorola.
I'm sure I've got some pics of him from the top of Stanton Lees.

I think I've found the pic in question but it's on a slide so I can't scan in on my scanner. My old man can do it on his though so hopefully sometime next week.
