For you not going, I hope I will be able to snap some pics for you people :D

Looks a good event, I'd like to go but it's a bit to far! Is it only Dutch bikes that are displayed or bikes from anywhere?

A bit like our own 'Classic Bicycle Display' on April 19 between Halifax and Bradford. This year its specialist subject is 'Yorkshire Frame Builders' - but we'll accept anything in general.

Hi Ned,

No, not only Dutch roadbikes! It is for roadbikes from all origins. I am really looking forward.

@lgf
Yes, of course I am obsessed. I am more or less obsessed by fine flawless Japanese and pragmatic Dutch bikes in general. Of course I am aware that, for example, the Italians made bikes with unmatched historical significance, but why being an orphanage for them while everybody else is already taking good care of them :) Love Masis, Cinellis & co none the less.

Colnago. I think Colnago was the most represented of all brands.

Eddy Merckx

Olmo & Schauff. Underlaying chrome shines through topcoat - nice effect.

It was quite crowded with visitors and stands selling parts and frames. As it was held not very far from the German border, what is for a substantial part the reason why there were so many Germans attendants. One of them came with a beatifull OSI sports car (parked outside)

The ax brakes work with any standard frame. No special brazeons needed. Look great but imo are awful to set up well.
