that's cool 
what bugs me though is that it won't make it onto the national sport news on tv, we seem to suck at everythingelse at the mo (not that i watch football/cricket etc) but if we're losing cricket games on the other side of the planet that gets reported, when one of our guys does well in cycling it's barely mentioned. sucks.

hoy is only getting any tv coverage coz of the award thing he got, was it mbe ,obe or knighthood, can't remember. if he hadn't got that and the sports personality thing after doing well at the olympics they wouldn't be interested.
don't get me wrong he did great at the olympics but that happens every 4 years, not that there aren't other comps but hardley anyone is really interested in what hoy does outside of the olympics, just like redgrave etc, but cavendish is racing around europe etc and gets hardley any recognition for it. it's rude and must be a little demoralising for him that no one in his own country is interested in the effort he puts in.
