I have been on the lookout for a new pair (or 3 really) of cycling shorts.
There are three things I want from them:
1. Not too long legs (Pearl Izumi is a very bad example here)(middle of thigh is good).
2. No BIB-shorts.
3. Not a diaper-sized chamois...

I have sportful from the 90s but they are worn out.. and then some.

Good ideas ?

I generally find Santini pretty comfortable and also Netti from back home in Australia.
Santini should fit your bill no problem.

Thank you. I had a look at Santini and they don't seem to make normal shorts. Just the stupid BIB shorts.. :?

Any other ideas ?

Look for those markated as Tri shorts, as a general rule these tend to be shorter in the leg.
