Got some chrome that is peeling (yes properly peeling off, possibly a previous restoration that went astray).
What alternatives are there to rechroming? Rust damage is significant if only on the surface, is there something that I can use that looks vaguely silvery/shiny or am I going to be looking at a tin of hammerite silver or a significant replacement programme?
