You mean that Shimano's designs for their chainsets are just functional? The swoopy stuff and changing the appearance of mechs every couple of years is all about form and mothing to do with function!

Erm, since when did I say Shimano's designs weren't all form over function? Read it again.

The very fact that manufacturers are so obsessed with style and gimmicks proves to me that they are all out of decent ideas.
