10 speed Sun in about 1970, swapped it eventually for a DOT trials bike that never did work properly!

5 speed Raleigh Olympus in Gios blue for my 10th birthday in 1979...

Did up a 531 Carlton Corsair tourer in the early 90s.... which ended up as a fixie...

And the first proper road bike was a Wilier Triestina 7020 Alloy thing I built up with Chorus and 1st-gen Cosmics in 95

A Raleigh Tempest in brown/gold with red & white decals,went to my local Halfords with my parents and picked it out,think they were just released then aswell,had to wait until christmas to get it though.

first bike i used to actually ride was a raleigh pursuit....

I remember when I was 11 having a drop though...everyone was getting a bmx though and so i used to jump off the same ramps on me drop...till i got my first bmx

Mine was a five speed Dawes Fivestar in March 1978 cost £108 with Ever ready lights and Karrimor cotton duck saddlebag put down £60 and parents guaranteed hp at £3.50 per month

I loved that bike, but the bottom bracket and headset kept undoing themselves.
On reflection it was most likely a pile of poo :roll:
