Gloria, an atypical Italian bike

Yesterday I received a Gloria frame which I bought via marktplaats.nl. The frame is Italian but has a more French air being a typical randonneuse frame. Larger forkrake, eyelets for mudguards/racks and mudguard clearance at the brakes. Aso a nearly full set of braze-ons. So I'll finish it wit a mixture of French and Italian parts, including a Stronglight 107 triple. Does anyone know soemthing more about Gloria? The only thing I found on the web was a mention that Gloria had a workshop in Milan and that Faliero Masi learnd the trade there.

The Gloria maque was completely unknown to me untill I saw this frame on marktplaats. Slowly, mainly through responses in threads on various fora I begin to see some other Gloria's. I have the impression that the Gloria I bought is a bit less refined as the old pre-war models. But nevertheless, the geometry is to my liking and I'm quite eager to build it up and ride it around a bit. ;)
