1950's Armstrong frames

I have one of these that i have owned for 27 years,it's built up as a tourer and has become one of the few things i would never part with,i was wondering if anyone had any info on the make as there seems to be no real knowledge coming out of a google search,mine is 531 tubed and the headbadge says "armstrong...birmingham"
Any wisdom greatly appreciated!
