My brother wants a more upright position on his Dawes 80s steel road bike so is going to take a flat bar and short zero rise stem that I have spare. He has Shimano dual pivot side pull brakes, so which levers (lever only) should I look for for this setup?
I think I have an old pair of canti levers lying around, though I guess a newer pair of Avids with the speed dial all the way in should work ok too, right? Does anyone have a specific recommendation that they've found to work well?
