Sorry the pics are small - the site didn't seem to allow any bigger. Any advice on how to post bigger photos if it would help?

A query on behalf of a work colleague of a friend:

- 1960/61 WF Holdsworth Hurricane in really great condition (photos may follow)
- forks replaced and bike restored by Cyril Wren of Richmond Road, Kingston following an RTA
- 10 speed Campag Gran Sport derailleurs
- Campag quick release hubs on Fiamme rims
- Mavic Tiger centre pull brakes

From the photos I've seen it's approximately a 57cm frame.

Any thoughts on how much it might be worth?

Steel frame, risers with grips, rod brakes, platform pedals, 3 speed Sturmey A hub gear, sidestand. Complete with Middlemore sprung saddle, Bluemels mudguards, complete chaincase.

Any thoughts on what this worth?

A colleague at work wants to sell a 1961 Holdsworth Hurricane. He has had it since new, and it's mostly original apart from the chain rings, cranks, and forks. The latter were replaced by proper frame builder (Cyril Wren) after an argument with a car door in 1962. It has not been used much since 1970, and is in remarkable condition.

Can anyone suggest approximate value?

Although he'd rather not split it up, a quick search suggest these prices:
CAMPAGNOLO GRAN SPORT mech = 45 (rear), 15 (front)

Most interesting is the 'Tiger MAFAC' brakes which were only made for a few years, and so are fairly rare. They might possibly be worth a few 100 on their own, if you check eBay? Also, the Fiamme rims with yellow mark are valuable.

I want to ask a realistic price. Any suggestions, or websites gratefully received.
He also has a funky butchers bike he wants to sell.

Hello

I'm considering selling my 1991 Specialized Allez Epic size 56 cm.
Image

The components are mixed with Shimano 105 and other.

Does anyone know how much it is worth? In the picture it is not completely done yet. But I will finish it before I'm selling it.

Aloha, don't follow the road prices as much as I ought, interested on some views as to the values on the following

*753 SBDU Raleigh 753 frameset. Original ti red paint but ideally need respray to be 100%
*Super Record (or Record) hubs on arc en ciel (I think) tub rims.
*Most of a Dura Ace 8 speed 7410 STI gruppo
*Most of a Dura Ace 9 speed 7700 STI gruppo
*Early 00s Look Carbon frame only
*Zieleman Type Special Columbus complete bike. Mix on suntour and other components
*Lemond GLX frameset. Excelle tubing. In the late Z team colorway.
*NOS 8 speed Mavic cassette hubs + spare block on Mavic tub rims
*Pinarello Gavia TSX frameset. Laquer gone around decals, probably needs a respray to be really nice.

Not sure how accurate/useful this is and will obviously depend on size/condition but for what it is worth (ha!):

*753 SBDU Raleigh 753 frameset. Original ti red paint but ideally need respray to be 100% - if decent enough but with patina then maybe £250 but if paint loss such that a respray is needed then a fraction as a decent respray in the same finish would possibly be £200 on it's own

*Super Record (or Record) hubs on arc en ciel (I think) tub rims. - £80 to £100ish

*Most of a Dura Ace 8 speed 7410 STI gruppo - difficult to judge as not sure what it includes

*Most of a Dura Ace 9 speed 7700 STI gruppo - difficult to judge as not sure what it includes

*Early 00s Look Carbon frame only - no forks? If so then reckon not strong money, perhaps £175

*Zieleman Type Special Columbus complete bike. Mix on suntour and other components - £275

*Lemond GLX frameset. Excelle tubing. In the late Z team colorway - if decent nick then £250 to £300, perhaps more

*NOS 8 speed Mavic cassette hubs + spare block on Mavic tub rims - £125

*Pinarello Gavia TSX frameset. Laquer gone around decals, probably needs a respray to be really nice - see comments on respray above but if useable as is then £250
