How much would a Cannondale CAD2 Saeco replica 56cm frameset (including original time forks) be worth?

Should I get this Simonelli on Cromor for myself? I have Precisa threadless forks in matching painting. What thread do Simonellis have? I have BSA BB, why asking. Does Cromor ride nicely?

how much should I spend?

Victor: Don't know Simonelli but sounds Italian so my guess is Italian threading. Cromor is a lesser grade tubing from Columbus, still nice but not the level of SL or SLX. May be a little heavier than an SL bike. I would not pay over $200 usd for this bike

Jere: Saeco Cannondale should make a nice bike though Aluminum is out of favor at the moment I would pay about $100 usd

Value depends on the goal: are you looking to make money or just curious? The reason I say is it looks like a bit of a parts mix with various eras and makers. I think the Nuovo Record stuff dates the frame, but some of the other bits are pretty low shelf which for me brings the whole down a notch. So back to my original question, If you are looking to make some money this bike would be a good part out candidate. As it sits I would not pay over $250 usd.

Yes, but I should say that after I wrote this I looked on ebay and some of these older frames are selling for a bit more, like in the $350 to $450 range
